Wedding

This past Friday, Rebekah and Tommy were married at The Farm. A beautiful event location in Candler and home to a few very friendly horses! The wedding was supposed to begin at 7:00 pm in front of the The Farm's outdoor gazebo. It was pouring rain up until about 10 minutes before 7:00, and then the sky cleared. What a blessing! The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and Rebekah was radiant. This was a very fun wedding with a Cold Stone Creamery cart, old fashioned coke bottles in buckets as centerpieces, and delicious barbecue by The Colorful Palate. Everyone had a wonderful time. Here are a few pictures by the photographer, Troy Tolle (yes, my brother...he is such a multi-talented guy!). He does photography on the side of his full time job with DigitalChalk.

Our one-day vacation

What a fabulous weekend I had! On Friday, my husband, my brother, his wife and I traveled to Dollywood. None of us had ever been, so we were somewhat skeptical, but we were excited to go on a one-day vacation. On our way it felt like we ran over something, and when we were in the gorge the back left tire blew out! Laura controlled the car like a pro and maneuvered it off the road. I was impressed! We grabbed an umbrella to signal drivers to move over into the next lane so they wouldn't hit our husbands. I will have to say that it was pretty nerve wracking way to start off the trip, but we ended up having a blast. Here are a few pictures...

The hardworking boys...

The tire is only slightly damaged...I'm sure we could have gone a little farther. :)

Here we all are at Dollywood. We had just gotten on a roller coaster when it began raining, of course! We were drenched when we got off, so we went straight to all the water rides. We were already soaked anyway, so it didn't matter! Fortunately, it was beautiful for the rest of day.

This Weekend

This weekend was a busy one. I had the pleasure of meeting with one of my bride's, Sheila, and her mother to tie up some of the details regarding her wedding in September. Such wonderful people! Her wedding is at Champion Hills Country Club, where the views are spectacular!

On Saturday night, my husband and I attended Corey McNabb's fabulous birthday party. It was nice seeing everyone, as always, and making new friends. It was a Black and White party at Corey's studio...just in case you are wondering why everyone has on the same type outfits! Thank you Corey and Jill for the invite! You guys are very special to us, and we are so blessed to have you as friends. Here are a few pictures:

My Blog!

Hello everyone! I have started a blog at the urging of several of my friends...and I am really excited about this new adventure! I am not a computer genius, but my brother (Troy) is, so he keeps me on top of things! :) On this blog I hope to keep you updated on events in my life and in my wedding world. I have enjoyed working with weddings now for 9 years, but having my own business has been a tremendous blessing. God is good!

I hope everyone had a fabulous and fun 4th of July. My husband, my dog (Toni) and I traveled to Waynesville to visit my parents. Every year we go to Joey's Pancake House and have the BEST pancakes, and then we go to the Lake Junaluska parade. This is a mini Macy's day parade...ok, maybe that is a stretch. A HUGE stretch! There are a few cars that drive by, a fire truck and some people walking...but, it is tradition! I can't imagine not going to this every year. :) Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

Isn't our dog the most adorable thing you have ever seen? This last picture was taken at my parents home. They spoil her rotten!

Since this is our daughter (dogter), you will probably get sick of seeing her pictures on this blog! So, I will apologize in advance...

I promise to have a few pictures of some of my most recent weddings soon.
